Shamida began her professional journey in Speech-Language Pathology in 2006 after completing her training at AWH Special College, Kallai, under the guidance of Ms. Girija. After earning her Bachelor’s degree, she moved to Dubai and started her career as a Speech and Language Therapist.
She gained valuable clinical experience at Majidi’s Clinic and also worked as a private therapist for the Royal Arab family. With a strong commitment to child development, she completed advanced training through the SPICE Program at the Central Institute of the Deaf, USA.
While working with preschool children, Shamida noticed the growing need for effective autism intervention. This inspired her to specialize further, completing a Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and becoming an International Behavior Analyst.
Today, Shamida serves as the Clinical Head of the Speech and Behavior departments in Dubai.
